We are Francis and John Paul Bak, a family who moved from the Netherlands to sunny Andalusia in 2022. Las Bandejas means, among other things, “trays” in Spanish, inspired by our nickname: De Bakjes.
From our charming base in Alhaurín el Grande, we share our love for this region through tailor-made excursions, tours, and welcoming accommodation.

Welcome to Casita Las Bandejas Bed & Bread, the ideal holiday destination for families and dog owners looking for a carefree, relaxing getaway.
Our cosy Casita is located near the whitewashed village of Alhaurín el Grande, just 30 minutes from the airport, beaches, and lakes. Here, your children and/or dogs can move around freely while you enjoy the sun and nature.

What is included in the price of Casita Las Bandejas?
The price includes accommodation for 2 adults and up to 3 children, bread delivery service, gas, water, electricity, WiFi, and final cleaning. Up to 2 dogs are also welcome.
What additional services do you offer?
Babysitting service (€7.50 per child or dog per hour)
Málaga airport transfers (discount for our guests)
Grocery service (€10 per delivery)
How big is the Casita and what amenities does it have?
The Casita has 2 bedrooms, a living room with an open-plan kitchen, a modern bathroom, air conditioning (hot/cold), a washing machine, and a fully enclosed garden with a terrace, outdoor kitchen with dishwasher, outdoor shower, and private pool.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
These times can be arranged in mutual agreement. Please contact us to discuss.
How far is the Casita from the airport, beaches, and lakes?
All three are about a 30-minute drive away.
What are the booking and cancellation conditions for the Casita?
When booking, we require a 10% deposit. Up to one month before arrival, you can cancel or change your reservation free of charge and your deposit will be refunded. Within one month before arrival, the full amount is due.
In case of a no-show or early departure, the full amount remains payable; no refund is possible.
If Casita Las Bandejas must cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund of all amounts paid. If desired, we can assist you in finding alternative accommodation.
Do I need to take out travel and cancellation insurance?
We always recommend taking out travel insurance with cancellation coverage, in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Is the private chauffeur service included in the stay?
No, but guests of Casita Las Bandejas enjoy a special rate for airport transfers and other services. Feel free to contact us for more details.

How many people can use the private chauffeur service?
Up to 8 people per trip. We charge a flat rate per trip, regardless of the number of passengers, allowing us to offer competitive pricing for groups.
What trips do you offer?
From airport transfers and day trips to dinners and events – always with pick-up and drop-off at the time that suits you best.
Will a guide join the rides?
No, the private chauffeur service is for transportation only. However, we know the area well and can provide an overview of the highlights upon request. If you wish, we can also create a custom walking route. Feel free to ask us.
How can I request a price for a ride?

Is cancellation free for the private chauffeur service?
Yes, you can cancel free of charge up until the moment of departure. Please let us know about any changes or cancellations as soon as possible, so we’re not already on our way.
